FEATURED PROJECTS
The Mill, in Bromley-By-Bow is the largest working Mill to date, but is deteriorating. It needs major refurbishment to improve the building and bring in more interest. This project explores the Mill from the Initial site analysis to the new purpose and programme, which incorporates ideas of the Circular Economy.
This project focused on exploring the embodied carbon of various materials and what causes a high/low amount of embodied carbon from the initial point of creation to transportation. Various materials were explored, finding alternatives for materials with a high embodied carbon content. This project has allowed me to make more conscious and sustainable choices as a designer.
The Patera was located in the Docks of East London and had remained derelict for years. The brief for this project was to create a theatre that would bring in a new audience and clients to the surrounding area. Much like the Mill project shown above, this project also focuses on Adaptive Reuse.
